Welcome to the SA Road Race Bulletin, your weekly round up for South Australian motorcycle road racing news.

Kicking things off for Week 30, the FIM MiniGP Australia Series took place at the Ipswich Kart Club, QLD with South Aussie’s #11 Judd Plaisted (aka Rocket Ronny) and #36 Rikki Henry seeing great successes over the weekend event. Judd took home first overall for the round, a huge milestone for the 11-year old in his recovery journey from a significant accident earlier in the year. Rikki Henry scored valuable points in his Race 2 second placing, allowing him to hold on to his championship lead.

You can catch them both in action when the FIM MiniGP hits Monarto on August 26-27.

Head to the Ohvale AU Facebook page for details.

Speaking of coaching, Levi Day will be back in Australia for a limited time, with a single coaching weekend at Mac Park on offer from August 11th-13th. Levi’s 'On Track Rider Training' coaching events are hugely popular over the Summer, with the morning track walk/demos, open track time and invaluable 1-on-1 teaching being major drawcards. Ty Lynch will be joining Levi as a coach over the 3-day event.

Very limited places remain, so if you’d like to get on board book your spot ASAP.

Meanwhile down South, the Mount Gambier Motor Cycle Club hosted another successful, albeit wet ride day. Mac Park ride days are held on the last Saturday of each month, offering great value for money at just $140 for the day.

The Mount Gambier Classic and Vintage Motorcycle Show also ran over the weekend for another successful year, raising much needed donations for the Cancer Council SA. With low entry numbers a concern in the lead up to the event, it was great to see it all come into fruition once again.
